Don Proto is an ASL 33 built in Denmark in 1964 by Danboats (Knud Thostrup-Hansen). Originally designed by Philip L. Rhodes in 1958 for George B. Walton, a Yacht broker in Maryland, approximately 95 were built between 1960 and 1965 (approximately 35 by Danboats and the balance by Sanderson both in Denmark). Approximately 25 were imported in the French Riviera by Mr René Albert D'Andrimont, exclusive importer of Danboats based in Monte Carlo.
Entirely refurbished, Don Proto keeps the spirit of its original plans.
